Flik is an inventor whose ideas always go wrong. When grasshoppers arrive seeking payment in the form of the harvest, Flik goes to get help. He returns having discovered some warriors who can save the day. In fact they are Flea Circus Performers. But it's too late, the grasshoppers are back.
