The Drowning Pool

Did she slip? Or did she jump? I can picture her now in the pool, her white clothes floating out from her. White's a lonely colour Kate and her mother have moved to an idyllic village in the country to make a new life fo rthemselves in a cottage next to an ancient wood. But doing a school project with her classmate Jimmy about the wood's history leads Kate into forbidden territory. The wood hides strange and violent secrets - secrets with disturbing echoes of the tragedy in Kate's own past, and long-forgotten injustice which only Kate and Jimmy can put right.
