- Undamaged cover
- All pages undamaged (no creases or tears)
- No underlining/highlighting of text or writing in margins
- No damage to binding
- If the book normally has a dust jacket, the jacket is included
- May be an overstock/remainder
- No missing pages
Very Good
- Minimal amount of creasing to the spine
- Square binding
- Minimal or no discolouration to pages
- Dust jacket present
- May contain writing only on the title page
Good
- Slightly crooked or scuffed spine
- Mild creasing scuffing of cover
- Slightly loose bindings
- Mild browning
- Slight highlighting or note taking
- May be without front or end page (no content missing)
Acceptable
- Spine may be warped with cracking and scuffing
- Cover may be discoloured and creasing
- Pages may be browned and warped
- Markings and note taking do not interfere with reading
- May be without end papers or title page
- May be some water damage
- Cover slightly torn
