A delightful bed-time book, full of stories by favourite authors and illustrators, Shirley Hughes, Tony Ross, John Prater and Michael Foreman to name but a few. There are funny stories (Frog is Frightened) and lyrical tales (One Round Moon and a Star for Me), poetic moments (Why Do Stars Come Out At Night?) and real experiences (Burning the Tree). Many of the stories feature the moon, the magic of the night's sky as the moon lights up the dark. But all of them are a pleasure to read aloud and as each book has been re-designed to suit the anthology format, the whole book is a visual feast.
