C. Rabbit is ambitious. If a dog can become a famous film-star, I, too, can be famous, he boasts. I shall break a record. He tries to stay underground longer than anyone else, to shoot the mill-race in a bucket and to hold back a steam-roller with his teeth. It is only when he stops trying that he achieves the fame he craves for.
