In the time before time, Rainbow Rider was the only person in all the brand new world. He made rainbows from the occasional drops of rain that fell on the desert, and sometimes - just for fun - he would ride a rainbow into the sky, singing all the way. But after a while Rainbow Rider grew tred of being alone and decided to make a friend. He tried to make one out of sand, out of tumbleweed and even from a cactus. But none of them was very friendly. How Rainbow Rider finally succeeded in making a friend is a glorious surprise.
