Spike the Sparrow was a failure. Whenever he opened his beak, all the other animals covered their ears, because spike couldn't sing. Owl tried to help, Mouse thought it was easy and even the little ducklings could quack in time! Spike was misrable. He sat by the pond all alone nd sang quietly to himself in a little craoky voice.
